Overview: This play works really well against any coverage unless your opponent manually takes it away.

Setup:

1. Hot route your B/circle receiver to a drag route
2. Hot route your X/square receiver to a slant route

Reads:

1. Your first read on this play is your B/circle receiver on the drag route
2. You can also look to your slot receiver on the corner route
3. Or your X/square receiver on the slant route

Overview: Your opponent should be so worried about the running back on that swing route that it should really open up the middle of the field.

Setup: None Required

Overview: Mix this play in every once in a while to keep the defense honest.  It can be extremely effective if your opponent is cheating too much to the right side of the screen or dropping a bunch of guys into coverage.

Setup:

1. Hot route your tight end to a slant route
2. Hot route your running back to a swing route to the left

Reads:

1. Your first read is your tight end over the middle
2. If he is covered, look to your slot receiver a little deeper

Overview: This is a really simple play that works wells against both man and zone defense.

Play: Four Verticals

Setup:

1. (Optional) If you are expecting a nano blitz, block the running back

Reads:

1. Your first read should always be your tight end
2. You can also look to your slot receiver who can get open against some zone coverages
3. If you are under pressure or can’t find anyone else open, your running back is usually open for at least 5 yards.

Overview: This is a classic play that is really common in Madden 16 but it is hard to stop when you make your reads correctly.
