Playbook: Minnesota Vikings

- Blitz your free safety and place him directly over the left tackle about 10 yards off
- After your blitzing free safety takes 2 steps towards the line of scrimmage, you can user control him and patrol the field.
Overview: This is only a 4 man rush and you should see really fast B Gap pressure
Playbook: Minnesota Vikings

Play: Cover 3 Buzz
Setup:
- Base Align
- Pinch and crash your defensive line down
- Move your OLB on the left side of the screen out toward the sideline until his blitzing angle changes
- Blitz your free safety and place him directly over the left tackle about 2 yards off
- After your blitzing free safety takes 2 steps towards the line of scrimmage, you can user control him and patrol the field.
Overview: This is the zone version of the last play. We still have really good coverage everywhere and unless your opponent is blocking extra guys, you should get in untouched.
Playbook: Minnesota Vikings
Formation: Nickel 3-3-5 Wide
Play: Sam Will 3 Blitz
Setup:
- Base Align
- Pinch and Crash your defensive line down
- Put your DE on the right in a qb spy
- Put your OLB on the right in a light blue or purple zone
- Move your blitzing OLB on the left out towards the sideline until his blitzing angle changes
Overview: This play is only a 3 man rush and has really good coverage on the right side of the field. You are a little vulnerable on the left side of the screen, so it is a good idea to user defend on that side with the cornerback in a yellow zone.
The Sam will 3 scheme, is global. You can do this to every play in this book. The pressure is over 60%. I like it.
Do you guys have any blitz plays that are not nano? In our league we have a no nano policy because it’s more of a glitch than skill. Thanks
It is tough because everyone considers nanos to be different things. We’d need to know your leagues exact rules and guidelines for that.
